Week 9: ‘Purple Hibiscus’ (2003) Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie (Nigeria 🇳🇬). Her first novel – I must reveal I never read it until now! – it is the tale of domestic violence and religion, told through the eyes of a 15 year old girl. A tense & uncomfortable read, as you ultimately become her. Exquisitely written! Rating: 📙 📙 📙 📙 📙#ReadWriteAfrican
